Through the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Foreign Agriculture Service (FAS), CCPB receives Market Access Program (MAP) funding to promote California cling peaches in international markets. Export market development efforts are concentrated on Canada and Mexico.

  • 2 15 oz cans California Cling Peach halves, strained, pat dry

  • 1 8 oz container of cottage cheese

For the toppings

  • ¼-½ cup honey

  • ¼ cup toasted sliced almonds and/or crushed pistachios

  • Zest of a lemon (optional)

  • Fresh boysenberries (optional)

  • Pinch of cinnamon

  • Flake salt (optional)



  1. Place a large dollop of cottage cheese in the center of each of the strained peach halves.

  2. Top each with a generous drizzle of honey. Sprinkle with nuts, place a boysenberry on top. Zest a little lemon directly over each peach. Sprinkle each with cinnamon and flake salt.

Makes 8-10 peach halves
